Looking for real Ab Circle Pro reviews?

Hi! If you own a TV or ever go onto the world wide web, you've almost definitely seen an ad for a new product called the "Ab Circle Pro". This strange-looking fitness product is everywhere. It claims to be a "treadmill for the abs" that can help you tone up your abdominal muscles while also burning off your belly fat at the same time. Apparently they've sold a lot of these things.... like tens of thousands! But the reviews of the Ab Circle Pro I've found online definitely seem to be mixed. Some people like the exercise machine and have gotten good results with it. Others are very vocal about how much they hate it. I hope this page will be a resource for real reviews, testimonials, and useful info related to the Ab Circle.

Please be sure to leave your own reviews in the "comments" section below... THANKS!

A Quick Ab Circle Pro Customer Review

A good friend of mine ordered an Ab Circle Pro a few months ago after seeing it promoted on the HSN channel. I asked her to send me a short review of the product. Here it is...

I've been using the Ab Circle Pro since the end of June, about two times a week. In the 3 and a half months I've been using it I've lost 15 pounds of body fat and toned not just my abdominals but my entire body. I can't give all the credit to the Ab Circle though, at least not by itself, because I've also been following a "healthy" low-carb diet and doing circuit training at least 2 or 3 times per week! So far I give this little ab machine about 3 and a half stars out of 5. It's not nearly as bad as some people have made it out to be (at least in a few of the reviews I've read) but it's also not the fantastic "flawless" home workout solution promoted in the commercials and ads.

My initial reaction to the machine was a negative one. I noticed all the flimsy-looking plastic and immediately considered taking it apart and returning it. But then I remembered that I'd gotten a discount through HSN so I said to myself "what the heck, I'll give it a try". I'm glad I did because the Ab Circle Pro definitively provides a decent workout in a pretty short amount of time. In fact the thing I like MOST about this product is that it's a very good solution for those times I don't want to or simply can't make it to the gym. I can get a pretty efficient fat-burning, muscle-toning workout in about 15 minutes using this machine.

On the other hand, the shoddiness of the materials used to make the Ab Circle definitely keep it from being the high-end product it could be. The rollers need some oil to make them roll smoother around the steel track. The knee pads are horrible. Just hard plastic/rubber that kills your knees if you don't use something to protect them. I purchased some super-soft knee pads from a gardening shop and those have made all the difference. When I first started using it, I wasn't too thrilled with the side-to-side hip-swinging movements. Fortunately that changed after a couple of workouts. I got used to the motion and actually kind of enjoy it now.

One thing's for sure, a workout on the Ab Circle is not nearly as "easy" as they make it look on the infomercials. You definitely begin to feel it in your abs, obliques, shoulders, and arms within just a couple of minutes. I start sweating and breathing hard within just 5 minutes. Good if you want a real workout that's gonna burn some fat and build muscle. Bad if you're expecting a super easy workout that doesn't make you sweat!

So does the Ab Circle Pro work? I would say yes, if you're gonna use it often and grit your teeth and "just do it" when the workouts get tough. Is it worth the $200+ price tag? That I'm not so sure about. If the quality of the materials was higher I would say definitely "yes". But I really think it should be 50 to 100 dollars cheaper. And if it starts to break apart on me like I've read about in some of the customer reviews I've seen online I'm gonna be really, really upset!

So there you go. That's my review of the Ab Circle Pro. Let me know when you put it on your website!

My experience with the Ab Circle Pro has been decent up to now. No problems with the machine yet, but I definitely agree that the plastic parts should be a little tougher/better-made. I've only had it a month so we'll see if it holds together!

I bought my Ab Circle Pro on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) about 3 weeks ago. It was pretty easy to put together and I started working out on it the first day I had it. So far the results have been pretty good. The machine does take some getting used to but once you use it a few times it's pretty enjoyable. My brother tried it and totally hated it. He's several inches taller than me so I think it may have something to do with his body just not fitting the machine well. I haven't really lost any weight yet but my abs are definitely stronger and more defined than they were before. I'm hoping to be able to lose at least 10 pounds and 2 or 3 inches by Christmas. Anyway, my rating for the Ab Circle Pro so far is 7 out of 10.

i bought my ab circle last summer. it worked great for about a month then it started falling apart. the rollers definitely aren't friction free like they say in the commercials. for the month i was able to exercise on it, it was very good. i was a happy customer. but since then it has not been enjoyable to use. it's a shame they couldn't make a better quality product. i plan to try to get a refund for my ab circle pro.

Thanks for the tips. I don't think I would try it after reading this.

I was going to buy a "discounted" Ab Circle PRo I found online for my family as a Christmas gift. After reading these and other reviews though I'm not sure. It seems like it would be a great at-home family exercise product but it sounds like the quality of construction is lacking. Maybe if I can get it for super cheap I'll consider a purchase!

ok so i've been using my sisters ab circle pro now for about a month. i think it works good the only problem is that it freaking kills my knees! also the rollers are starting to make some weird noses so we don't know how long it's going to last. i was going to buy my own and was looking for reviews. that's how i found this page. someone told me that the ab circle pro 2.0 is going to be released in 2010. i don't know if that was a joke or what. can anyone confirm that a new version of the ab circle is coming out next year? thanks for the help.

i used the abcircle a few times and did not like it at all. i decided to buy a ab coaster because i found one on sale for a pretty low price. it's WAY better than the ab circle and i would recommend it for anyone who wants to burn fat and get a six-pack (i'm on my way!). yes it's more expensive but you can find them at a discount on places like ebay or craigslist so spend some time looking before you buy.

I got my Ab Circle for christmas and so far I'm not too thrilled with it. In fact I'm debating returning it to the company (which I hear is kind of difficult to do). I think this is one of those workout machines that you already need to be in good shape to use easily. I'll give it another week or two and if I still hate it I'll be returning it or selling it on ebay!

I bought the ab circle off TV and I love it! It is a perfect little routine to follow! I felt the burn as soon as I used it! I am also following the diet to go along with it! I already feel myself loosing weight and getting a boost in my metabolism! I am so excited to see what happens after the 2 week mark! I love this machine! It is a super fun and easy way to work out!

My first ab circle pro was faulty and I returned it and it was replaced. I decide after a trial of it that it was of limited use in weight loss and toning, and decided to return it. The company were obstructive, unco-operative and rude. Would not issue me with a "return number", so I posted it back and they have deducted the money from my credit card anyway. I have a complaint being followed up in the "Fair Trading Dept". Do not "trial" this machine!

Just got the machine today. I'd say you get a pleasing

low level workout. I'm happy to get the blood system

pumping after sitting at a desk for a while. You can

do a few minutes and not break into a sweat which makes

it an ideal form of exercise.

hi i was wondering if you could do a comparison of the ab circle pro with other new abdominal products? examples include the flex belt, ab rocket, ab coaster, slendertone, contour, ab lounge, etc. i really want to get a six pack before summer but i don't want to waste money on another piece of junk. any help would be very appreciated. thanks!

Had my Ab Circle Pro for just over a week before the rollers broke so havent had the chance to see any real results yet :( But just bought some "red upgraded replacement rollers" from ebay in Australia and so far they seem fantastic! Only had them 4 days but no marks or anything yet and does seem alot smoother and faster then the originals. Apparently this helps to improve the exercise and burn fat quicker, lets hope so!!! Anyone else tried these yet?

Hi,

Recieved my AbMotion (seems like everyone is making copies of AbCircle Now) same as AbCircle with metal rim for rolloers instead of the plastic disk (I had second and one with plastic disk that wore through at base of circl within a few weeks!!)

The new one I used for 30 mins before one of the nylon roloers developed two distinct grooves in it.

This made the machine unworkable. I am getting two new replacement rolloers from where I purchased it (GoEasy Online) so hopefully it is just a one off?

I replaced the white nylon rolloer with an older model AbCircle pro roller (black) but after a few days this also developed a groove in it!! I am now on the second of the black rollers soo..

Seems strange always the right hand roller!! I dont know if it is me or what! No weight limit for this machine and I am a fairly solid 100kg.

I have just ordered the REDROLLERS on E-Bay so will give these a try and see what happens.

I absolutley (play on words their) reccomend the AbMotion/Circle with the metal ring for rollers.

I use it daily in 5min to 20min sessions for a total of 30mins/day

I at this stage would only use a few drops of oil/crc directly on the roller bearings and not put any oil or graphite powder on the mrtal/plastic disk.

The rollers need friction to roll and if they stop rolling!

I would assume it would only take a few motions to develop grooves inthe wheel's to render them useless.

I like the work out I get from the machine. However, the roller on the left only lasts for 3-5 days for me. Why only the left side? Not sure, must be me. The machine is useless if I have to replace rollers every 3-4 days.I don't even know where to got rollers.

Hi all, ive been through 3 sets of rollers so far. Now on my 4th set that i found through ebay and they are amazing!! Just typed in ab circle rollers into ebay and found some silver/grey bullet rollers. Makes the machine so much quicker and also quieter! There are a little more expensive but have had them nearly 3 months now and in perfect condition, my others lasted roughly 2 weeks before they wore out!! I believe these bullet rollers also come with a warranty. Hope this helps!

For me the AB pro work good with a good diet 1 have used one every day for two weeks for half hr per day and i have lost five kg but you have to stick to it those who by an AB pro and give it a half hearted attempt will fail if you dont put the effort in the diet plan and exercise or keep making excuse why you failed its no ones fault but your own If i can do anyone can and my age is 59

Sharon Anderson 11 months ago

I borrowed my friend's Ab Pro and loved it. Had misgivings about doing the leg abduction/adduction exercises though (nasty visions about things going painfully wrong!). Would buy one if I can get a better deal than RRP which I also feel is pretty steep. I know this seems like a dumb question but....is anyone familiar with the seller on e-bay with hundreds to sell for $50, no shipping cost (from China to Aust)? All their positive feedback is for junk jewellery. And onus is on buyer to pay return shipping for faulty goods. Tell me there really is an e-bay fairy godmother...please.

Leanne Grimsley 11 months ago

Sharon Anderson do not buy from this man, I brought one and he removed the listing the very next day, didn't answer my mails and then sent a bangle!!! Good news was I did get my cash back from Ebay after raising a complaint

I brought the mini ab circle a week ago and i have spent more time fixing the thing than actually using it! on my first session after ten minuits one of the rollers got stuck and it got a flat spot so i was unable to use it, i was sent a replacement part 5 days later, then the knee holders started to turn around, thats when you can actually keep the knee pads in place they have a habbit of moving around, they should be held in place - i have had to tighten the knee holder bolts up on a few occassions now, then the middle section bolt came loose so had to get the spanner out again, i would not recommend this product it is poorly made.

I had a baby in May, since the end of June I have been using Ab Circle Pro. To be honest, I wasn't soo sure it would do the job of toning a very much needed stretched stomach. So far I can fit into my size 10 jeans again! It takes time, but combined with regular cardio and careful eating, it does work. The biggest let down for this machine is the knee holders, they gave me bruises when I first started using it and only now have I gotten used to it. Also, I almost dislocated my knee when my knee slid right off the machine and hit the metal bar during working out. Needless to say, it's not as great as they advertised. I give it a 5/10.

Anybody please answer my question?

1.Is it helped to reduce the weight?

2.How much cost?

Dee 5 months ago

I bought my ab circle mini off ebay, so got a really cheap price and it was brand new. I love it. I have lost 2 inches in my abs, and am losing my love handles. Haven't had any problems with the equipment, but have only had it a month. Its not the most comfortable machine to work out on it, but does work if you stick to it. Wouldn't recommend it for anyone with back problems as there is too much twisting.

Lourdes Castillo 3 months ago
